Vehicle description
A prime restoration project, this 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has nearly all the original equipment. Runs and drives but needs work. Almost everything is functional on the vehicle but needs maintenance and restoration. Originally code 2B bright red, but has faded a bit to look a bit orangey in some light. Has had some paint work done previously with hood color match seeming slightly off. Paint is chipped/peeling in many places and has some rust issues with main problem areas being the trunk, rear quarter panels, hood, and floor pans.
Engine runs well and sounds good but like the rest of the vehicle will likely still need work. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears but do see some transmission fluid under the car occasionally. Passenger side mirror mount cracked, so mirror is off vehicle currently but will include mirror so it can be remounted. Heat works but air conditioning is currently non-functional.
I purchased this Mach 1 in 1999 with the odometer showing ~73k miles, it now shows just under 95k miles. I intended to restore it at some point but has just never happened.
