1973 Ford Mustang Convertible 302 V-8. Automatic. 1 Owner. Purchased new at Notorantonio Ford in North Providence by a female school teacher who kept it all here life until she died in 1998. Her husband then gave it to her son who lived in Ct. In 2002 he put it in storage, and there it stayed. The amazing thing is she kept a log book with every time she put it away for the winter, and when she took it out in spring time. Every time she put gas in, changed oil, did repairs, computed the gas mileage after each fillup. The log is dated each time she wrote in it, and the miles at EVERY time she did anything! The log has to be 40 pages long. Every piece of paperwork from new when purchased. I bought it from her son about 5 years ago when he got transferred to Ca. He did not want to bring the car with him. I put a brand new power top on it. The old top was shot. I never put the top down. As good as the day I put it on. Appears to be a lot of original paint, and some spots that were refinished. The car has not been restored. It has 149,000 miles, as per documents. Runs and drives super. Everything works. I just washed for the first time in 5 years! Paint is very good, but not a 10. perhaps an 8. It shines, but could use a buff. No rot anywhere. Some rust on the inside of trunk lid. Trunk is perfect. I did not even vacuum this car ever. Drive it home and enjoy. A real piece of unmodified history. . No concourse d"elegance hunters. But it is a very good wholesome car. Call or text Jim@ for any specific info.
