For sale is this 1973 Dodge Commander. I"ve been the owner for the past 3 months and besides driving it back to LA from Sacramento, haven"t driven it much. The 2 previous owners were both from Sacramento, so it"s been in California its entire existence.
The previous owners remodeled the kitchen, upgraded the fridge, layed down wood-vinyl flooring, installed a new bathroom and kitchen sink. They bought a new mattress for the bed, which is a little wider than a twin bed. New cabinets. Oven works, shower runs, fully functional toilet.
The areas that need work are 1) the auxiliary gas tank is leaking, which doesn"t require immediate attention because the RV will run on gas from the main tank and 2) the engine takes like 10 minutes to warm up and it stalls out on me 2 or 3 times before it gets running. Once it gets rolling, the thing is a beast and I mashed it up the Grapevine, which has an elevation of 1600 ft. and after the engine warms
