Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1973 Dodge Charger SE is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Vehicle Details Original BLACK Car, all original componets other than it was a 383 car. A period correct 440 was built and installed in the 90’s. The car sat since the mid 90’s in the previous owners carport. The previous owner had the car from 1988-2021, this was his very first car. Finally realized he was never going to get it restored. As you can see it needs restoration, it has always been a local Area car, we have mild winters and no road salt. The rust issues are minimal. The worse part is the driver side floor board. There are trim pieces with the car and I believe there is only a few small items missing. The car originally had a vinyl top, that was removed back in the 90’s, the roof is in good shape! The bucket seats and console are good, the dash pad is not. The ignition switch is bad, will need replacing. We have not started the engine but it is free. The wiring under the hood will need replacing( squirrel) ! The engine was bored and built as a class project at the Automotive Dept at Westark College,(NOW UAFS) where the owner was attending at the time. A mild cam was installed along with TRW flat top pistons, moly rings, etc., it was bored 10 over. At some point in time the car was repainted blue over the original black( this was prior to 1988). The passenger side door had apparently been replaced when it was repainted. I do not know why. Clean clear title. The car will have to be hauled.
