Vehicle description

This is a true Super Sport,It started its life in 1973 with a 350 engine with a four barrel from the factory. It now has a 396 engine in place of the 350.Engine was rebuilt about five years ago and installed. It also had a Edelbrock manifold and four barrel Edelbrock carburetor installed on it and headers. The car sat in storage in a heated building for the last five years. The original owner claims it is a 427,but because it is so hard to tell the difference between a 427 and a 396 I would rather say it is a 396.The car was taken out of storage last month with a clean signed open title.Since then it has had a new altinator and starter installed. The oil and filter changed and fresh fuel .The engine started right up.It was driven a couple of blocks to make sure it ran and shifted good. The car is in black prime. It looks as if they where getting it ready to be painted. It has a new rug which someone cut the hole too big when they put the automatic floor shifter in it.But A rubber boot would fix that. The interior seats and vinyl roof seem to be original and are in great shape except for the back of the rear seat. There is a rip on the top of the seat.Someone started to install a new speedometer and new gauges, but never finished it.It has nice racing rims ,but the tires are dry rotted.Right door opens and closes great, but the left door hinge needs to be raised a little. The car also comes with a new set of rain drip moldings. Because of the age of the car,the car is being sold as is, I recommend you check the car yourself or have someone check it for you before bidding. The transporting of the car will also at your expense.
