“I was told that the mileage is original at just under 49,000.The dashboard, and the leather drivers seat confirm that this is an original low mileage automobile!. Big powerful 500 V-8 runs very well... Brand new tires and battery. This Eldorado left the factory with the super rare Shadow Taupe Firemist paint code and a matching Taupe vinyl roof. The vinyl roof has been removed. and there is a little bit of rust that needs some attention near the back window. All the lights work as well as the power locks/seats and windows. It has an aftermarket radio that works fine... The previous owner meticulously restored the finer details of this car including the silver paint on all of the emblems and light accents..Car has nearly every amenity available in 1973. Tilt-telescopic steering wheel, remote trunk, power everything! The car runs, drives, and shifts great for 48 years old. The brake pedal is a little soft, most likely some air in the lines...Rare 'Track-master" anti-lock braking system” |

Vehicle description
1973 Cadillac Eldorado. Super rare Shadow Taupe Firemist paint. I was told by previous owner from Eastern WA., that the car has 48,000 original miles. And judging by the dashboard, the leather seats and the overall condition I would concur. Big powerful amazing Cadillac 500 V-8 runs nearly like new. This car has every imaginable option conceivable in 1973, including Cadillac"s exclusive "Track-master" anti-lock braking system! However the calipers are sticking. .which has created air in the system. Very soft brake pedal, but an easy fix. The original Taupe vinyl top has been removed, revealing a nearly rust free template for a fabulous new top! All of the trim, chrome, and bright-work on this car is solid and free from rust or pitting. All of the lights work, as well as all of the power options. .It does have an aftermarket radio/cassette that works fine. The previous owner meticulously detailed all of the silver accents on all of the badges, lights/emblems. . The 48 year old doors on this car open and shut like a Rolls Royce. The build quality of this car amazes me. Truly a one year. .one of a kind that will surely appreciate. I am hopeful the new owner will love and cherish this car. Whether they bring it back to original condition, or leave it with all the glorious patina that money cannot buy! This car might be a decade or so removed from Cadillac"s "Standard of the World" sales pitch. .but I would argue that it is still just that.
