Canyon State Classics Give Us A Call 1972 Volkswagen Camper Year 1972 Make Volkswagen Model Camper Body Color Burgundy Stock 161231195278 VIN 2322152478 Miles 105,000 Engine Size 2.0 Liter Transmission Type 4-Speed Manual 1972 Volkswagen Type 2 Baywindow Bus, Riviera Camper, Westfallia, Stove, Sink Here is a beautiful 1972 VW Type 2 Baywindow Bus that is truly one of a kind. Not only in its configuration and condition, but in its wonderful story and documentation over the years, it was truly a member of the family. The car is a two owner remaining in the same Washington/Oregon family ownership until just last year. I do believe this was a "Riviera" camper conversion, most likely built out of a standard Type 2 Sunroof Station Wagon configuration. The bus has lived its whole life on the west coast so you know it is as solid as a rock! It recently came out of storage and has been made ready for the open road once again. Don"t miss your chance to own a truly beautiful VW Camper that will get looks everywhere it goes. . Bid Now! The following is a list of options as this VW is currently equipped: -Type 4 2.0L Dual Carb Engine (Rebuilt)
-4 Speed Manual Transmission
-VW Hubcaps w/ Steel Wheels
-New Radial Tires
-Updated CD Sound System The body on the Bus is overall straight and totally solid and rust free. The paint on the car is finished in its original color of Chianti Red which looks very good for over 100k miles. I would describe the overall paint as a very nicely kept paint with a few small imperfections and chips, which have been touched up. Remember, this paint is over 30 years old, but looks great going down the street and still has a high shine and luster! The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any West Coast car should be. The car is riding on nice, original repainted wheels and has new radial tires. All chrome trim, glass, and rubber seals are in good original condition and have not been altered since new. The interior is in very good shape all around. The seats are in good condition with zero ware, which shows the quality of materials used in this car. The rubber floors are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The dash is like new and looks great. All gauges and controls function as they should. The sound system has been nicely updated to a modern Bluetooth CD player with great sounding speakers front and rear. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. The rear camper area is flawless and all cabinets are beautiful and all latches and hinges are in excellent condition. The rear bed cushions look freshly redone with new foam and material and nothing is dirty or has any kinds of funny smells or ware. The pop up canvas is in good shape and zippers still seal everything up. Original screens do have a few small slits. Mechanically, this VW runs GREAT! The van starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. A lot of time and money was spent under the hood of this little Bus. The motor is a fresh rebuild and has always been super meticulously maintained. The van starts up and runs like silk. It also is tight as a drum and leaks nothing. .extremely rare for a VW! Brakes, fuel system, suspension were all done at some point in last 5 years of ownership. $15k in receipts for recent work included! All in all, this is truly one of the coolest VW Campers on the road today. Its early vintage sets it apart from all of the others. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. This is your chance to get a like new classic camper for a fraction of the original cost. The car has a clean Arizona title. Any further questions please call Jon at 480-703-2337. The van is located in Sunny Tempe, Arizona.
