For sale, my 1972 Triumph Spitfire. My Spitfire has been completely restored by me over a period of about 4 years. A very nice and rare feature of this car is that it is rust free. Following is a list of everything that is new or rebuilt: The engine was replaced by me with a 1500 engine from a 1975 Spitfire. The engine had been bored out .010 over and rebuilt. I have no documentation on the rebuild of the engine. The engine runs like a top.1. New Weber carburetor 2. Radiator cored, flushed and cleaned professionally by a local shop 3. Fuel tank flushed cleaned and th interior of the tank restored with a purpose built restoration kit 4. Overhauled brake master cylinder 5. Overhauled clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder 6. Front brake calipers overhauled 7. New brake drums and pads installed 8. New rear brake wheel cylinders installed 9. New rear brake drums and shoes installed 10. New lines and hoses through out 11. New springs and shocks in front 12. New ball joints in front 13. New tie rod ends and steering system boots 14. All new rubber bushings throughout the front and rear suspension 15. New transverse spring in rear 16. New battery 17. New windshield wiper motor 18. Replaced heater box 19. New battery cut out switch 20. New carpeting including trunk 21. New mahogany dash board 22. New seals in many places 23. Rebuilt both window regulators 24. New side mirrors 25. New stainless steel exhaust and new mufflers 26. New paint this year.
