Vehicle description
Here is a 1972 Porsche 914 that has a clean open title. Odometer shows around 47,000 Miles. This car will need a lot of TLC and is not for everybody. I can not get the motor to turn, so will call it locked up and will need to be rebuilt. I do believe it is the 1.7 It has dual weber carbs. Someone at one time welded in a newer battery tray, hell hole is so so. It will need some floor pans or patching. The front trunk will also need some patching or a new pan. I bought this car for the windshield but the windshield was damaged during shipping. It looks as though someone has taken some parts off the car at one time or another. It"s missing the pass. window and track. The driver"s side does have the glass inside door but I cannot get it to roll up. The outer rockers look somewhat solid. I do not know about inners. The exhaust is oily and looks decent, I cannot tell if they are the stainless ones or not. It does have the Porsche rear reflector and looks to be in good shape as do the taillights. We put a battery in it and the headlights go up and down. The car does roll, stops and steer. The ignition switch is out. Someone was trying to get this thing back on the road but gave up. I think at one time or another this car was a looker of a car, hoping someone out there wants to get it going again. These little cars are good investments and are worth putting the money into just like the 356 are!
