1972 Duster 340 "Survivor"
This is a very special car! What you see here is a car that is factory original, not restored! The factory applied paint job, original interior, engine bay, and undercarriage are just as they were in 1972 when the car was new.
The car shows normal wear and defects from it"s 88K original miles, a few small paint chips and flaws but nothing that detracts, it"s obviously been well taken care of over the years. Only maintenance items were replaced as needed such as tires, brakes, belts, hoses, fluids, etc. Due to spending its life in the dry climate of Eastern Washington (Spokane) it has no rust or other issues you"d find with cars in the humid rust belt East of the Rocky Mountains.
The undercarriage is 100% factory original, floors are dry and clean still covered in the factory under coating with zero touch ups.
The engine still wears its original paint and has all of its correct accessories such as the rare 1972 only air cleaner assembly, correct #6139s Thermo-Quad carburetor (freshly restored by Harms Automotive), and the original date coded alternator.
The interior is 100% original, there are a couple small under dash gauges which were added and easily removed. Dash pad is perfect and crack free, and still soft. There is a second broadcast sheet which still remains under the seat cushion!
All numbers match! The Engine, Transmission, Radiator core support stamping, Package tray stamping, Door VIN sticker, Dash VIN tag, Broadcast Sheet, and Title all match and are factory original to the car.
This car was recently featured in Chrysler Power Magazine and is a true "Survivor" example. You don"t often find 340 cars of this caliber for sale on ebay of elsewhere, a truly special example.
