Vehicle description
For sale is my 1972 Plymouth Duster. But this is no ordinary Duster, no sir. This 1972 Duster for sale has a 5.7-liter Hemi, freshly rebuilt out of a 2004 Dodge Ram. Using the specs from the Dodge Ram you get 390 Horsepower and 407 feet pounds of torque. That is definitely a difference between the 245 horsepower that would have come from the factory with a 340 in 1972. Backing this modern marvel is the transmission that the factory mated to the engine, a 4-speed automatic transmission. So, this combination will give you neck snapping torque and highway speeds at just over idle rpm"s. To give you total control of the gears is a B&M ratchet shifter. This wonder of old meets new is freshly painted in a deep medium blue that contrasts nicely against the black vinyl split bench seats that features high backs and a pull down center arm rest. Options for this 1972 Plymouth Duster for sale are: Vinyl interior, Push button starter, Posi track, Radial tires with raised white letters and rally wheels, dual Flowmaster exhaust slightly popping out the side right behind the rear tires, and to keep this beast cool is a BeCool cooling system rated to keep engines up to 1000 hp cool. This is still a fun project car with tons of stuff to do while having it a reliable means of transportation that looks good. She starts up the first time everytime with the strong Optima Battery.
