For sale is my 1972 Mazda Rx2 Super Deluxe, 5 speed Manual, I bought this car in Italy and shipped it back to New Zealand, it was never sold from new in Italy in 1972 because it was too different for Italians back then, so it ended up being left in storage for 45 years, In 2015 the car was sold by the owner and it was restored and then put up for sale. The restoration was done very well with a respray on the body and a strip down of the car including the windows and locks, replacement of rubbers and badges and new chrome for the bumpers. The engine was serviced and runs very well, the exhaust is completely factory. Seat belts were never fitted from the factory and it still remains without seatbelts. Because it was never used on the road in Italy it has only 1800 km"s on the clock and it has very little corrosion. It is probably the lowest km"s Rx2 in the world. It is very near original condition as it would have been when it rolled out of the factory. This is a collectors piece and should be added to an enthusiasts collection to be appreciated, this is really a one of a kind, unmodified and a very lovely car. I have all the paperwork for the cars history, shipping and ownership. I am open to offers on this car and the buyer will have to take in consideration the shipping costs from New Zealand.
