Vehicle description
1972 Lincoln Mark IV. Engine and vehicle was completely rebuilt in 2005 and has about 5000 miles on it. Only used for car shows and cruise events. Everything in the following list was either rebuilt and installed new. Engine completely rebuilt. Block was taken to a machine shop, all new cam bearings put in, cylinders were re-honed, all new bearings and pistons and piston rings installed. Has an aluminum intake manifold, Holly 750 cfm carb,10.5 compression ratio, street cam, DOVE -CA cylinder heads (more flow), Full stainless steel exhaust system including mufflers ( nice sound, not too quiet and not too loud) , Police interceptor exhaust manifolds for flow. Electronic ignition system (no points to worry about) new water pump, dual core radiator, steering gear box changed, upper and lower ball joints new, steering linkage and drag link new, C6 transmission completely rebuilt with shift kit installed and a 3500rpm stall convertor, 3:55 rear axle ratio, coil over shocks, brakes, rotors all new. Alternator upgraded. U joints replaced. Grant steering wheel and FM and CD player installed with new speakers. This vehicle will get rubber in all three gears. shoot me an email about the price.
Vehicle is a great driver, it is not perfect, there are two cracks in the dash panel, some surface rust at rear window and some bubbling under the vinyl top. This is how I got the vehicle and nothing has changed in these conditions since I bought it. Garage kept from October to June each year. This vehicle has never seen winter conditions. There is no rust in any body panel. This vehicle was bought from a dealer in California and it was there until I bought it and had it shipped to me. I had my fun with this car and always enjoyed taking it out, it is time to get rid of my toys, that is the only reason I am selling this.
