Vehicle description
Car is being re-listed as the person who bought it before was a no show
1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport
Mechanical: Non numbers matching good running 351 Cleveland. Need a new carb. Floor shift C6 tranny Power steering Power front disc brakes AC car but is not currently working. All components are there Brakes seem to be in good shape, but the pedal is a little hard so it could use some adjusting Car runs and drives but needs a tune up and a once over before I would take on any trips. Engine compartment is sanitary and there is no rust under the battery tray or the radiator core support where these cars always rot.
Body and Paint: Body is rust free Floors and trunk are solid but does have an amateur patch on the passenger side rear floor pan that could be redone. Paint is very amateur but is serviceable as a project car. Body isn’t hiding any issues. Straight except the drivers front fender needs a little work as it looks like something rubbed up against it behind the side marker light. Was a vinyl top car but that has since been removed and painted blue. Roof is rust free and the vinyl trim is still there which is super hard to find
Wheels and tires: Brand new American Racing 17 wheels and tires that were $2,000 275/40/R17 245/45/R17
Interior: Brand new headliner in the box is in the trunk. Door panels are solid Carpet is in good shape Center console in good shape Has an aftermarket radio in the center console that works. Has two working speakers in the rear package tray. Original radio still in the dash Seats could use new covers and have slip covers currently
Bumpers, Trim and Glass: Bumpers are straight but have minor dents and could use a new finish Rest of the trim on the car is in good shape. Glass is all there and is in great shape. All windows roll up and down as they should Windshield is in good shape. Grill and grill trim are in great shape.
Electrical: Headlight work Taillights work Blinkers work Fuel gauge works Has aftermarket temp, voltage, and oil pressure gauges mounted on the front of the center console that work.
Great starter 72 Torino for someone to mess with and have some fun.
Again the car needs a little work to be out on the road consistently.
Call or text Michael at (402) 201-9674 with any questions.
Car is sold as is where is with no warranty. I have the right to take the ad down as the car is for sale locally as well.
$500.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is due directly at the end of the listing and the remaining balance will be paid with a certified cashiers check, wire transfer, or cash in person.
