The Maverick Sprint was a one year model done as a tribute to the 72 Olympic Team. It was painted Egg Shell White, with a Grabber Blue Bottom, and Blue stripes on the hood, and an American Flag on the quarter panels. There was 2 different versions, the US, with the US Flag, and the Canadian version, with the Canadian Flag. Ford did three different Sprints. a Mustang, a Pinto, and a Maverick. These are all rare, and hard to find. The car has front disc brakes which was converted from drum brakes about two years ago, and new rear 5 lug axles last year. It has a 302, with 289 heads, a small 496 cam, C4 transmission, Scat Racing Bucket Seats, B&M Shifter, Aluminum Radiator, Polished Aluminum Water Pump, Aluminum Pulleys, Header, and Flow Master,s Street Demon 625 Carburetor, Comet GT Hood Scoop. BF Goodrich White Lettered 60"s all the way around, Actual mileage on the engine is unknown, as the car came with a 6 banger. Re-chromed Bumpers. The dash pad is perfect, no splits, or cracks. The rear seat was redone approx 4 years ago. I have all new side parking lights. The speedometer does not work. The car has won numerous trophies and awards. The is a small amount of rust breaking out above the left the drivers side rear wheel. I really do not want to sell it, but I really don"t have the time to do anything with it, due to family health problems, and i would rather see it go to someone that can enjoy it, than to leave it sit. It gets alot of attention any where I go with it, and it is alot of fun to drive. I have alot more invested in it, than I am asking, but as I said, I don"t have the time to drive it, or take it to any car shows. Horn does not work, some rust starting over left rear wheel, front turn signals not working, no jack. Thanks for checking out my auction, and have a great day.
