Vehicle Details 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport Brougham interior package. I've owned the car for the past 23 years. It originally came with a 351C 2V and C6 automatic transmission. I still have the original block and tranny and a deal could be made if that is desired but I have it set aside for a different project. I purchased a 429 and C6 together 15 years ago. Had it professionally gone trough, bored and stroked to a 460. All internals are brand new, Keith Black Silvolite Pistons, HUGE Lunate VooDoo Camshaft the heads were completely ported and polished as they are the 70 429 heads, all aluminum roller rockers, Weiand Tunnel Ram intake with 2 Edelbrock 650 carbs, Hooker super comp headers that go out to purple hornet glass packs, it has an electric water pump for drag racing, as well as a Nitrous Mastermind that works as a computer for the nitrous oxide system which is a fogger system. Mallory distributor Hyfire box and Mallory Coil. Howe aluminum race radiator with electric fan. Holley electric fuel pump, fuel cell, battery box in the trunk. B&M Megashifter. TCI 3500 stall converter goes to a rebuilt C6 transmission with zero miles on it, same with the motor. Everything is here, everything is 99% done. The fuel lines all need plumbed, and transmission linkage needs to be figured out. Other than that, it's about a weekend away from being complete. I just haven't found that weekend in the last 15 years and I've come to terms that I probably won't. So someone needs to complete the project. It will fire, it will run, it is not rolling. Oh the hood has not been cut as I never had the heart to do it. I know I've forgotten about a million things I've done so please ask, Oh it has a Ford 9inch solid spool rear end, all tires are in GREAT shape, the rears are Mickey Thompson ET streets which are street legal wrinkle wall slicks ;) and are a lot of fun smoking corvettes that think they are fast.
