Seller"s Notes Full details in description Vehicle Details 1972 F100 Ranger XLT Location: Oklahoma This truck has the V8 big block 360 FE engine with an C6 3 speed automatic transmission, both original to the truck. The motor was recently completely gone through less than 2k miles ago and the mileage shown on the dash of 63k miles is believed to be the correct original mileage not just due to the overall condition of the truck, but also as the block still had the original hash marks from the factory as well as the ford stamped gaskets. Motor work included being completely disassembled cleaned plastic gauged to make sure it was still within tolerance on all bearings, pistons were removed, honed the cylinders, installed new piston rings, new cam bearings, cam and lifter set, timing set, standard volume oil pump, era correct performance intake manifold, Petronix ignition, 570/ 600 cfm Holley carb, disassembled the cylinder heads cleaned, installed new valve stem seals, lapped the valves and wet checked for leaks all were good. The truck has had a bed liner, bed cover and new rear bumper installed to match the front. As well as new dual flow master exhaust that has been dumped at the rear axle, and sounds amazing. This is the original paint and was buffed to remove oxidation and bring back the original shine. There are two spots of patina pictured on the hood. The interior has also had sound matting along with new carpet installed and new aftermarket steering wheel for ease of being a daily driver. Plus many other new parts. The wheels are original W Western Cylone II wheels with the matching center caps (rare to find and expensive). The under side of the truck has typical surface rust that's common with older vehicles, but nothing bad. The only significant rust spot on the entire truck is the front drivers side fender just in front of the driver's door pictured. This truck has been kept as original as possible while still making a couple changes to make it a suitable daily driver and a little more modern. Truck is in very good condition with a couple minor imperfections or dents here and there as well as the tear in the drivers side of the bench seat. It wouldn't take it much to make it nearly perfect and the price reflects that. The truck is stored inside to keep it clean and ready to sell so only serious inquiries for getting it out to test drive. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
