Vehicle description
Mechanically excellent 2CV Club. Believed to be a late 80s German market car. Selling at a loss as it needs a new frame. Body is solid. Only rust visible is in one side frame (see photos.) Body, floors, doors etc all solid. Small dents and dings all around but good cosmetic shape for a driver.
Interior is beautiful. Has 3 point seat belts plus sliding and reclining seats.
Owned by a Citroen enthusiast, planned on restoring but decided to sell as I am currently restoring an SM and already have an early 2CV and Ami.
Fully sorted mechanically with new 123 electronic ignition, brake caliper, new stainless brake lines, breather, valve adjustment, improved Burton valve cover gaskets, fresh oil, fresh transmission fluid. Hundreds of dollars in receipts from Burton and FPS West. Just undertook a 500 mile journey in December without any problems, including highway stretches at 65+ mph.
Would be a $10-15k car with new frame and some cosmetic TLC. Galvinized frames are available in the US for approximately $2k.
Inspections in person encouraged. Will assist with loading. Runs and drives but recommend shipping as steering column rubs on firewall a bit due to frame condition.
Thank you.
Glad to discuss or send additional photos, videos etc.
