Vehicle description
1972 Chevy Nova Coupe. Project or parts car. Was my great grandmother’s and after she died it sat for 20 years. It originally had the 307 in it but it thew a rod in the late 80’s after which they put in a 305. The engine will turn over and even start and run for a few seconds (surprisingly) however that’s only by putting fuel or starter fluid in the carb (notice the fuel tank in the trunk). Some things to note:
- It rusty. All floor pans and trunk pan rusted through. - Condition of the transmission is unknown. - Rear drum brakes are locked up. - Does not run on its own. - Oil looks almost new and has no water in it so the internal components seem to still be sealed. - Frame still looks sturdy but I did not get a thorough look at it.
