Vehicle description
Why search high and low for that barn find and then spend 60 thousand and 10 years fixing it up when you can have this completely done driver at half the cost?! This thing is ready to go and turns heads wherever it go’s! Truly a one of a kind this GS Stage 1 Clone has the 1970 wide mouth front bumper and grill with the signature ram air hood. With the hardtop and rear spoiler it looks almost closer to it’s even rarer GSX cousin than a vinyl top GS, people constantly ask “what is it” thinking that it’s a Chevelle or GTO. This is a rust-free car with the 455 Stage 1 engine, Turbo 350 transmission with B&M slap shifter, and 12 bolt rear end. The list of aftermarket parts is long including aluminum intake, brand new FST carburetor,MSD ignition with brand new coil, distributor, plugs, and wires, aluminum Northern Radiator, with flex fan, and emergency electric fan for slow traffic on summer days, Doug’s long tube headers that feed dual exhaust. With recently replaced break lines feeding upgraded front disk breaks and re-chromed bumpers the only thing this car needs is driven. The Kenwood stereo system with alpine amplifier and subwoofer is loud enough to jam out over the engine noise with all the windows down riding down the road! Note: Thisis a GS Clone it originally came off the assembly line as a 72 Skylark 350 2barrel with a bench seat and column shifter.
