About this vehicle This 1972 AMC Javelin AMX 4.9 is a modified vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, and arrangements. Vehicle Details This is a very nice driver 72’ Javelin AMX. Was originally a 304 car but now has a built 360. Edelbrock cam, intake and carb. MSD Billie distributor, power master alternator. Transmission and motor were rebuilt about 5 years ago. No issues with either. Transmission is a 904, with a mild converter, and HD rebuild. Rear is a stock AMC 20 with 3.73 gears. The car came with Cragar SS wheels but, I put a set of restored AMC 15x7 rally wheels on with Cooper Cobra tires. 235/60 up front and 275/60 out back. Buyer can choose which set up they want. The front and rear seats need to be recovered. I ordered new foam for the front seats and new covers(white vinyl) fit the front and rear. These are Legendary covers and take 6 months to get.
