I bought this XKE as a project that I had hopped to complete, time and life make that impossible.
I have a lot of the parts to complete the project and all parts can go with the car. The car is in storage (climate controlled) I am not near the car so more pictures will be difficult. If I have more with me I will add them as I find them.
The car starts runs and shifts fine. The brakes need attention, but I have the new master cylinder to fix that issue. The car has very little rust, and the driver floor board was cut out and welded in with new sheet steel. I have added the twin 4 barrels and new top loaded manifolds. I still have all the original Stromberg carbs, intake manifolds and linkage as well as every other part to put the engine back to original. I have 90% of the interior, either original or new for parts I was not able save. gages all work , oddly so dose the clock. The car was moved to storage in August, gas was drained and car is under cover. The car has original wire wheels, new radiator, seats, and a lot of new parts like tail lights head light buckets, seats, and so on. Please ask questions, and I may consider offers. If you will the bidding I will need 50% deposit by EFT. No exception. I am not going to finance the sale, I do not want to trade for a car worth far less, or any other thing you might think is worth way more than the car.
