Hey Gang we picked up a Clean Barn find 1971 Vw Squareback in a trade deal - it is a complete NON- Running car- Its been parked since 1986 . We have not attempted to fire it up as it as a few issues like the fuel tank is completely rusted through from old fuel and some of the wiring on top of the motor will need repairing or replacing do to mice chewing on wires . Body is solid with little to no rust and the pans are awesome . The interior needs front seats recovering due to sun dry rot and rips back seat is close to perfect the headliner has a few small rips all glass good no chips or cracks could use new rubber seals all the way around . These are getting harder to find in this shape . I. have the original pink slip in hand from the family i got it from but can transfer into my name if necessary .The car is located at our ranch in Northern Ca near Sacramento Ca (Elverta Ca 96526). Im putting new tires on this week so it will roll onto a trailer for new buyer .
