Vehicle description
Roll Up Roll Up for a beauty of a ride. I am selling my 1971 Volvo as I need space and do not have the time to dedicate to displaying this gem properly. I don"t want it to sit and molder away in my garage when someone could be getting enjoyment out of it. I used this as my daily driver for all of 2018 and have driven it approximately weekly for 2019 to keep it in trim. Has been maintained by X-Ray Autos in Ballard for me and the last 2 owners and is in fantastic running condition. * * * * * PLEASE NOTE BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING/TRANSPORT/LOADING ETC. I CAN MEET TRANSPORT COMPANY TO HAND OVER CAR BUT CANNOT ASSIST WITH LOADING/TIEDOWN ETC.* * *
Below is a list of what we have done to it since we purchased:
Replacement clutch in June 2018 New Master Break Cylinder June 2018 Tune up/Oil & Filter Change June 2018 Brake pads replaced August 2018 New Fuel Pump August 2018 Replaced Carb Bodies and Main Jets August 2018 Oil/Filter Change Sept 2018 Tune up and adjust valves Sept 2018 Service distributor/ Balance Carbs replace IGN parts Sept 2018 Replaced Power Booster + Timing Gears + Timing Cover + Trailing Arm Bushes December 2018 Overhauled Head and replaced Head and head gasket Jan 2019
Since the January overhaul in 2019 I have only driven this for pleasure once a week or so.
It is in excellent running condition. I have not done any work to the bodywork which is all original. it is not perfect as you will expect from a car of this age but I have left it as is because I wanted to preserve the original look.
The time has come now to pass this on to someone who can nurture it better than I can. Grab yourself a piece of history.
