I have a 1971 Volkswagen type three squareback for sale. It is all original, I have every single receipt for this vehicle going back almost 40 years to 1982. It runs excellent. I use this car as my daily driver. I would feel perfectly comfortable in driving it across country. Something funny about this little car, is it always ran perfect. Then when I put in the new carpet, I discovered a king of clubs playing card under the original carpet behind the passenger seat. I pulled it out with the carpet. And the car stalled a few times when I drove it next. So I put that exact same playing card under the new carpet in exactly the same spot. And have not had a single Problem since. This car has a wonderful personality all of its own. Tons of character. It has the original paint, good chrome, and I just put brand new carpeting in it throughout. This special car has the original oil bath air cleaner, a freshly rebuilt generator, and perfectly tuned factory installed Bosch fuel injection The only thing this car needs is a headliner a new headlight switch and seat covers to make it perfect.
