1971 Beetle Convertible for sale after having been owned for 10 years. This convertible has been sitting for two years but recently had its oil changed and some minor brake work done. Seldom driven and being sold due to a death in the family. It is a real head turner and fun to drive. It does have some issues as listed.
Pros: Fun to drive Attention getting Newer tires Body work done, virtually rust free Top in excellent shape
Cons: Needs a carb, won"t idle when choke comes off. ($139@Jbug) Right Valve cover/pushrod tubes and possible rear main leak oil. Left front fender and right rear quarter garage rash Antenna mount broken Pulls slightly right on heavy braking Slight rust near hood latch (pictured) Window crank knobs 2 missing 2 loose
