Background:
1971 was Chicago based, garaged and only summer driven 59,000 miles. Around 2008 the original owner brought the car to a body shop to fix damage to driver"s door mirror from hitting his narrow garage again. The car ended up with a rotisserie paint restoration. The body shop then coerced the client to sell and acquired it to show off the liquid black paint in their lobby. The body shop owner only added 500 miles to the odometer over the next 8 years. This car was trailered to car shows from Chicago to Florida where the car ended up on his lift, covered amongst a small collection of other Continentals. I acquired this in 2016 and had it shipped to San Diego. I currently am in the early phase of home rebuild and I have no space to store. Car has served me well and graced many date nights and about 5000 miles since 2016.
