Vehicle description
Beautiful 1971 Jeep Commando. Runs and drives beautifully. The entire engine, transmission, and fuel system were replaced by the previous owner. The engine is a late 90s/early 2000s model 6 cylinder fuel injected out of a Chevy Blazer, runs smoothly with more than enough power for the vehicle. The fuel pump and alternator were replaced in 2021. The tires have well under 1,000 miles on them. This car is very fun to drive and always gets a lot of attention. The soft top is clean with no holes or thin parts, and it holds up even in heavy rain. The paint is not original, but it is in good condition with only a few very small chips and small discolored areas.
There is a thin crack in the windshield, but the glass is intact. The muffler is a bit rusted and likely needs to be replaced. There is no serious rust anywhere else on the vehicle. A few of the snaps on the soft top have broken off, but the roof still attaches very snugly, and the snaps would be easy to replace.
