Vehicle description
1971 Ford Mustang. Here is a single owner 1971 Mustang Mach 1. The car was last registered in 1985 and then moved to a storage unit where it sat for 34 years. It has since been moved to a residential garage. The car ran when parked but has not been started since being stored. This Mach 1 is an M Code with a 351 Cleveland 4V and the Ram Air option. The car was ordered through Bennett Ford in Salt Lake City and arrived in March 1971 from Dearborn. The car was ordered with every option available;the Mach 1 Sports Interior Group, the Instrumentation Group, Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic, Traction-Lok differential, power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, among others. The interior is in good condition for the age of the car with no tears in the bucket seats (always covered in sheepskin). There is a crack in the dash, the steering wheel, and the driver door armrest. The Mach has the common rear quarter panel rust as well as on the lower door skins. The rockers look good and the frame and floor pans look and feel solid with some visual exterior rust. The engine bay has some rust holes on the cowl fender area. This Mach 1 is a solid survivor and awesome candidate for restoration. Here is a video of the Mach 1.
