Relisting because of non-paying bidder, who had no intentions of paying. Up for auction is an all original 1971 Ford F-250 with 71,000 miles! The previous owner was the daughter of the original owner. It comes with the original warranty card, build sheet, original first license plates, owner"s manual, and service manuals. It has a very smooth 360 V-8 engine that runs well, mated to an automatic transmission. It has factory power steering, power brakes, air conditioning(needs recharge), and Dana 60 rear end with 4.10 gears. It still has the original West Coast Ford mirrors.The interior is in fabulous original condition. The dashboard has a crack in the middle as does the speaker mesh has been altered. Everything works, except for the air conditioning. It tracts really good. I can take my hand off the steering wheel while braking, and it will steer straight while braking. It has a small rust spot on the front of the rocker on the driver"s side, and a very small spot on the passenger floor, that would require a very small patch, if one chooses to do either of them. The truck has been garage kept all its life. The roof is perfect. The bed is in good shape. The truck has some dings and scratches, but that is to be expected of 50 year old paint. They are only original once! I get countless complements on truck. There are three things that I have found that are not original. One is the windshield, which is dated 1984. The original owner added an "interesting" tachometer, called a "Gas saver" lol, The original owner added a 120 volt plug under the hood. The truck has mounts for other mirrors which I will include. The rest of the truck is original. I resisted painting the truck because the original paint is still very good. Personally, I wouldn"t change a thing! They are only original once!
