1971 Ford Bronco U14
- vin, title, and frame all match
- I bought this Bronco locally, and drove it for a little while but, but parked in in the Spring and started replacing the panels. Rust wasn"t the main reason for replacing the outer panels, it was more an issue of everything being dented pretty badly and the rear quarters were cut, so I wanted to return that to original. Given the bumper / winch combo on it when I got it, it was probably an old ranch truck.
- this is a running and driving bronco, all lights work (even high beams), wipers, gauges, etc.
- Marti report shows it is 1 of 44 in Mallard Green also came from the factory with parchment bucket seats
- This is a great driving project while you decide the direction to take it and while your wife decides what color she wants to paint it!
- New body panels includes: quarter panels, bottom part of taillight housings, rockers, inner rockers, b pillars, fenders, drivers floor pan, small patch on passenger floor
- bed floor needs to be patched or replaced - there is about an 1 inch gap where water must have collected - see picture
- new body bushings
- half cab top is original paint and solid with no major rust through
- all glass is nice
- motor runs well, carburetor rebuilt, gas tank dropped and cleaned, new fuel sending unit, it will leak about a quarter sized spot of oil, especially when I drive it during the hot TX summer days, could be the oil pan or
- brand new tires - purchased less than two months ago
- comes with a brand new hood (not installed)
- has added on power steering done before I purchased it.
