| “1971 firebird formula 400 for sale. I do not have the engine or trans. the tub is very solid on the car. the quarters, floor, trunk are very solid and rust free. it will need minor work on the roof and A-pillar. you can see in the pictures. It was stored inside for the past 25 years. the doors open and close with ease. the interior is mostly complete, but will need to be redone. it does not have a windshield, but the door glass, and rear window are original I believe and in excellent shape. the rear end is also in great shape. it is a 3:90 posi unit with Richmond gears. the tires are old school bias ply, but all still hold air. it has had weld I'm subframe connectors installed somewhere along the line. all the trim for the windows is there. I wanted to make it into a trans am, but am running out of time, space, and money. it has a clean blue Texas title. the front fascia that is on it right now is fiberglass, but I do have the original. The hood is long gone.” |

very clean 1971 firebird formula. The vehicle has been stored for many years. would be an awesome build if you have the engine and trans. I know where a 400/th400 is if you are interested. The interior is complete, but was redone in the late 70s or early 80s. It will need to be redone. I don"t know what happened to the original hood. It has a fiberglass cowl hood on it now. The quarters, trunk, floors, rockers, pinch welds, etc are all very solid. The roof will need a little work above the windows, and the drivers A-pillar where it meets the dash will need work. It is hard to find solid original 2nd gens. The rear end is in excellent shape an is complete with 3;90 Richmond gears and a posi unit. the front fenders have some rust on the bottom, but are fixable. the doors are very solid, and complete. I wanted to make it into a Trans Am, but just don"t have the time or money right now. please message me with any questions. It will be for local pickup 0nly.
