Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1971 Dodge Power Wagon is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes 1000 dollar deposit due within 48 hours. Non local bidders and buyers are fully responsible for vehicle delivery or pick up. There is no manipulation or misrepresentations, what you see is what you get. It runs drives and is 50 years old. However I hope I’m in that condition when I’m 50 years old. Any questions I will be happy to answer also video and pictures upon request! Vehicle Details Very clean and un-altered original 1971 W100 Power Wagon 4x4. Runs and drives true and straight. A blast to drive. Has one small rust area on the driver side step face. Super easy fix. It has solid floors no rust on the cab mounts, no holes in the floors, no rust on the bed mounts. This truly is a great find and a very original truck with title verifiable 67,000 miles. The truck as I know about it, has sat for the last three years, meaning not driven everyday but only once in long while. The history of the vehicle is a bit of a mystery, however it shows to have been maintained very well. The 4 speed manual transmission is very tight and shifts great. The truck itself has no rattles or squeaks. It has all of its original factory Chrysler Glass all around. It has an odd feature which is the in dash altitude meter. It looks professionally installed and why it’s there is unknown. The gauge works on barametric pressure and has a dial on it which rotates the face. It might have been a forestry truck, a fire department owned truck, or an airport support vehicle. Again a mystery but it was well maintained by whoever had this vehicle. For a 50 year old truck it’s not perfect but close, it’s not a show truck but could be, definitely a fun driving truck as it sits and definitely a perfect candidate for a full restoration, such as weather seals, and the like, they are brittle and will need replacing. Windshield gasket also brittle and shrunk over the years so all gaskets around windows will need replacing. Other than that and redoing the motor (it runs great, but why stop at new window gaskets,,,) it’s an easy easy truck to restore. No crazy metalwork, no beating out dents , etc. just a very easy truck to restore. Also I have taken a video of the truck showing how easy and great the doors shut and click right into place like they did 50 years ago. The tailgate same. No damage or cracks on the dash. If there are any questions I can answer I will. But what you see in the pictures is what you get. Again it’s not a show truck the paint looks good in pictures at 20-30 feet but has weathering, scratches, etc, etc, I took the pics with my iPhone but did nothing to alter them the pictures are how they were taken. So there you have it. An excellent running and driving 50 year old truck that some how managed to avoid being crushed, or rusted out, or totaled in an accident, cut up, altered, butchered or wrecked, quite the accomplishment, and. it’s not just any truck. It’s a Dodge PowerWagon. The real deal. Now as far as price goes. I’ve heard it all. And, I get it. Everyone is looking for a steal of a deal, and free being the ultimate goal. Not gonna happen. How about just. a deal. I’m not being greedy with my asking price. I know what it is. I know what these go for in all conditions. Show, super, great, good, fair, and get it out of my yard free. I’m offering a deal. A fair price not a greedy price, they are not making these anymore and here is one almost in the same condition it was 50 years ago. So my price is fair. It’s really not worth selling if it does not make sense for me price wise. It’s also for sale locally on marketplace. So I WILL RESERVE MY RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION Early. Bid to win it, Good luck, and Happy Bidding! Thank you for you interest! Exterior Excellent body Interior Clean interior Engine 318 LA Small Block Download the Motors app
