Car was converted from the original 318 V8, to a 472 Hemi. Car has original fender tag, and all other numbers on body also match, but yet is not a numbers matching car. Car has a clear TX. title, and was purchased from Dallas TX. which has been garage kept after restoration. Paint, Interior, ETC. are in very good condition. This car runs, and drives great, with only around 1,100 adult driven miles since restoration. New 15’’ Rear Steel wheels, and New Tires, correct 71 Gull - Wing, Eyebrows, 71 side Strips, New Rallye dash, rallye dash alone was over 2000 dollars and lots more. No Rust on car any where. Car has Resto-Mod engine Custom Built by Mid-American Racing Engines. ( Owner David Bruns ) This engine won mopar muscle engine challenge in 2006. MP Siamese - Bored Block, eagle crank, forged pistons, roller rocker arms. Engine was Dyno 496 HP at 6,000 RPM, 482 FT. LBS. of Torque at 3200 RPM. Turned and broke in on Dyno. Transmission is 727 Custom Built, by J&R Racing Trans. 2,300 RPM Stall, 3.54 Dana Sure Grip, Strange Axels, all new assembly. Suspension, MRE super front kit, firm feel quick ratio steering box, K&B shocks, 96"" Hemi torsion bars, Hemi rear springs, 4 wheel- Wilwood power disc brakes.
This car is built to drive, and enjoy. Fast, and Fun Driver.
Entire restoration was done over 18 years ago, and has not been listed for sale till now. Paint still looks new, except for a couple minor flaws in paint, lost one dog dish cap, has been driven 400 miles in the past month, as i have been driving it to car shows, with no known problems, all works as it should.
