Vehicle description
1971 Dodge Challenger Ladies and Gentleman, here for auction is a time capsule MOPAR with its Fender Tag, Title, and Broadcast Sheet . This 1971 Dodge Challenger was originally built in Dodge Main, Hamtramck MI, and sold at a dealership in Gulf Port Mississippi with a 198ci/125hp 6 cylinder , 3speed manual transmission, low trim quality package, with a black vinyl top, and High-Impact Toro Red. It was driven for a while then the original owner had the small 6-cylinder motor pulled and inserted a 1968 440 HP block, slapstick 727 automatic, Air Shocks, painted it white, and added a wing to the trunk deck lid. It was then sold to a family in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1978 who drove and cruised the car up until the father passed away and the car was inherited by his daughter. Her and her husband then stored the car in a workshop and it stayed there till 2006 when a gentleman bought the car. He then had the dash pad re-capped, brand new seat covers, headliner, and new carpet. He had the drive line refurbished and began going to car shows and cruises. He then sold the car to a collector who put it among his other cars till it was traded to a guy who sold me the vehicle. The car has been brought back to running condition with respect to keep its integrity of how it cruised back in the day. Current mileage is displayed at 697 on the odometer, actual mileage is unknown. Strong Running and Driving Big Block Mopar. Solid floor pans, Frame, Back window, Trunk Pan, and Lower Rocker panels. 1970-71 Dodge E bodies are getting harder and harder while people are asking higher and higher prices for cars with 0 documentation, rusted out floors, trunks, rockers, trunks, and rear windows. Perfect candidate for someone who wants to enjoy a car for a bit, have a piece of old car history, or even build what YOU want your 1971 Dodge Challenger to be. I can be reached at (520)-979-8990 with any questions or serious offers. NO TRADES, TIRE KICKERS, JOYRIDES, OR TIME WASTERS. I reserve the right to close the auction at any time for any reason. Car is also listed locally. Sold in "as is" condition with no warranties expressed or implied. Vehicle can be viewed privately by appointment only. Thanks, Happy Bidding, and Godbless!
