Vehicle description

1971 Chevrolet G-10 Shorty Panel Van Vehicle Description Seen here for auction sale is a 1971 Chevrolet G-10 Shorty Panel Van. This van was stored for over 30 years in a building and has not been started since. The vehicle did run when parked. As seen this vehicle is a commercial van used at a RC Bottling plant by me in the 1970’s and then by my Father in the 1980’s. The Van never had any major damage done to it. There are some waves and dings in the body and it is not perfect, but in good shape. The Passenger sliding door appears to have had some minor damage repaired. There is no major rust just a little rust at the lower part of the doors. Undercarriage shows surface rust but no major rust. The interior floor is in good condition but as seen in the pictures was a work van and has its share of scrapes and dings. It has storage racks on the drivers side for tools and parts. The interior was an ordered auxiliary seat in blue trim. The vehicle was also ordered with Gauges to include Amp-meter, Oil Pressure and Temp and a AM radio. It has rear door glass in both doors. The van has a heavy duty front stabilizer and heavy duty radiator to cool the 6 Cylinder Engine. It shifts with a 3 on the Tree column shifter with 3 speeds. The rear end has 373 gears.
