Vehicle description
AS I"M SURE YOU HAVE SEEN THESE CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLES ARE PRICED OUT OF SIGHT TODAY ! THIS IS ONE YOU CAN STILL GET INTO FOR A VERY FAIR DEAL !
Older resto but still is very nice and the body shows pretty good with only minor age showing in a few areas. The paint still has a nice deep shine. I"m told it is a base coat clear. I believe the paint goes back atleast 15 or so years. It"s held up well. As i say it does have a nice deep shine. I do have a partial Build Sheet I found in the car. This is a real fun Convertible but unfortunately financial reasons tell me I must part with it. It"s a great running car that i"m told started out life as a 307 V8 but some years back prior to me it was changed to what i"m told is a 350 V8 with 4 bbl. carb and a 3 speed automatic transmission with Power Steering and Power Disc front brakes. The only numbers I see on the motor is a casting number which looks to read 4010208. So if your a numbers guy come check for any others or maybe the casting number will tell you something. The motor sounds great and runs nice and smooth. The transmission also shifts very well. Not a museum piece but a fun cruiser ! The underside looks decent. It had some floor pans prior to me. Looks pretty decent. The frame looks good. The trunk also looks clean and decent. Some black paint underneath would neaten it up if you so desire. The car starts right up hot or cold. It has a Power top that goes up and down well. The convertible top looks nice but has one five inch slit. I bought a new white top but never bothered putting it on as the one on it now works well and still looks great. The new one (as pictured) i bought will come with the car. Things like the stereo work well along with the wipers, heater, and emergency brake work well. Things that i see could use something is the horn is inop and most of the outside lights look to work although someone mentioned to me a couple weeks ago it looked like the brake lights might need a bulb ot two, not sure. The car also has a fairly new looking dual exhaust that sounds nice, not loud like some but just right. Also recent shocks were installed. The car also has fairly New front and rear bumpers. The miles show 08,870 Last year the speedo was unplugged because the speedo squeeks. The car hasn"t been driven a ton since so I would guess the mileage is still very close but as i"m sure with the age of the car it"s been turned over a hundred at some point. feel free to come inspect the car to be sure it"s what you like and to verify the above info as one opinion is different than another. as usual being sold as is cond. connecticut uses the title and registration as one so that will go to the new owner along with a bill of sale. A 300. paypal deposit is due imediatly at auction end. The balance can be paid in check or bank to bank transfer, cash if in person so there is no delay with the car or paperwork waiting for a check to clear as my bank tells me any check including a bank check can take up to 5 business days to fully clear the system. Any questions please let me know. thanks
