Vehicle description

I am selling my 1971 twin turbo LS Camaro. It is a beautiful machine that will win trophies, win races, and you can still take it grocery shopping. It made just under 900hp on 15psi of boost and it was hard to control on the street so it is currently making 680hp at the wheels on 8psi and it pulls plenty hard! The car did the entire HotRod PowerTour in 2016, walking Hellcats and getting 23mpg. Turn-key, reliable 5.3 LS with a nice cam and headwork built for the boost and methanol injected to keep it cool. Dyno tuned by East Texas Muscle Cars. Twin 76mm turbos feed dual front-mounted intercoolers, all v-band connections, dual fuel pumps with boost-referenced fuel pressure, adjustable wastegates, 3.23 posi rear, TCI 4l80e transmission with billet input shaft, billet flexplate, and stage1 red clutches. It runs cool in any weather (even in stand still traffic at 100 degrees) and looks great doing it. Big drilled/slotted disc brakes all around behind 18" gloss black Coys wheels with 305/35/18 new Toyo R888R tires. The car cruises beautifully, shifts smooth, and feels great on the road, but once you put your foot into it it is an absolute animal.
It is not a race car - has never seen a track or drag strip - the body isn"t tubbed, caged, cut up or modified in any way other than the sub-frames being braced from underneath and the bulkhead connectors for the fuel in the trunk (will also come with brand new Tanks Inc direct replacement LS fuel tank, nothing wrong with whats in the car now, this is just a newer/better option). Not an East Coast car so it has never had rust or rust repairs, just a solid original body. The paint looks great, finished in PPG Nardo Grey with a solid black stripe on the hood, trunk, and all the chrome. Custom LED headlights with halo"s look great during the day or at night.
The interior is simple and clean, mostly stock with some carbon fiber accents and an upgraded billet steering wheel. Modern comforts like a n ew Kenwood radio with slick Kicker speakers sounds great and heating system from Vintage Air work as they should. Dakota Digital gauges let you know exactly whats going on (even has ability to show a check engine light just like any new car). Factory center console and shifter connect to the modern transmission so unless you know whats under the hood, it isn"t obvious from inside. Z06 Corvette power front seats are comfortable, have good support, and look great too.
You can drive with confidence that you won"t encounter another one like it anywhere you go. Not a perfect show car or trailer queen, she gets driven and enjoyed and she looks badass! It"s a fun car that you can cruise to shows and embarrass Ferrari owners with, or anything in between. Modern reliability with big horsepower compliment classic American style and if the rumble of the exhaust and whistle of the turbo"s doesn"t put a smile on your face, then you have no pulse. .
This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Sold as-is. Feel free to contact me with OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to COME SEE THE CAR in person.
