this is a 1971 avanti. official production numbers for that year are 107 units making this one of the most rare cars in the world and if youre looking at it. you probably know that. i bought it from an estate. drained the gas and threw a new master cylinder and new brake hoses on it so it could stop (brakes still need gone through it just actually stops now) and i put 4 brand new tires on it (5-10 miles). i briefly checked it all out best i could (im not mechanic) and everything seems to function but will need gone through. the interior is in great shape in my opinion for the year. the body is "weather checked" and needs to be repainted and minor repairs. the windshield is cracked and will need replacing. runs strong, doesnt overheat (not idling or driving it) and shifts sharply through all gears. has a new multi disc changer in the trunk and a new avanti head unit. starts right up every time and i have taken it on short trips around the neighborhood. ac does not blow cold but has a tag that it was updated and serviced to use current refrigerant . this is as is sale. its a barn find. was stored in a carport under cover for about 20 years i believe. mileage will increase because it is for sale locally and i have a few people interested in seeing it, i may end listing early as a result. if you want to come see it and drive it around my neighborhood you are welcome to contact me and come see it. its located in orlando fl. for non local buyers i can send video of it running and driving and will gladly "facetime" anyone not local thats interested.
