The car was very good shape except for the rear lower 1/4 panels were rusted ,and they were
repaired with new panels from an AMC vendor .
Work done to car Engine has been completely rebuilt Full brake system (everything) All new metal lines brake fuel transmission Full new wiring harness front to back everything works Rear axle resealed and end bearings replaced and greased and new posi oil new wiper motor wipers work great Original carburetor rebuilt New front windshield and all other glass good and working steering column rebuilt and new blinker switch and cam blinkers work Dash board taken apart and cleaned and tach repaired clock works but a touch slow ,all switches and lights and gauges work p/s alt water pump all rebuilt Brake booster and master new Heater box rebuilt and controls work needs heater valve rebuilt Automatic trans was rebuilt but 1st and 2nd gear feel funny a common problem with the 727 when they sit It will need checking I believe I have all original parts for car maybe missing some tiny stuff The cowl induction hood and cowl air cleaner are there All original rims and center caps , bumpers
I have the front grill and headlight surrounds but need work Have all interior but needs seat covers and all vinyl stuff replaced and carpet and dash pad need repair to be perfect ,and plastic stuff need painting Car is original 1971 AMX Z code 401 4 speed car but has been changed over to an automatic car Car is code B6A electric blue car 1971 only color with Black vinyl seats All body panels look really good now and are lined up really nice. hood doors and trunk work great Car has been sitting but body needs just a fresh priming and sanding will be close to paint, it depends on how flawless you want it of course Only lite surface rust on car because been sitting in my shop Car has headers and temporary exhaust on it. I have the owner paperwork in hand tor get registration The car has been sitting and needs a good cleaning The engine bay was all cleaned up and painted the original color, it still looks fine . The car is a great car to be finished how ever you want
