Vehicle description

I am selling my 1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 clone, which is a real deal 442. Clean, clear title. No leans, no loans, no damage. No theft history too! Leg work has been done for the next owner. Last year of these classics as a 442 of its own model (344 V.I.N.) Real 442, with real W-30 GM parts Ziebart rustproofing 455 Big Block Olds OAI/Ram Air W25 (OEM) GM functional fiberglass hood - About $7,000 for raw part if you can find it. W35 (OEM) GM functional fiberglass spoiler, idea taken from the wings of the Cessna airplane, to create down force during high speeds - About $3,000 for raw part if you can find it. Some real W-30"s do not even have it! (I ran into a body shop owner at a gas station and he was impressed with the quality of the paint and fiberglass work!) The fiberglass bodywork looks perfect. 22.5 mil thick paint thickness. About 5 layers of paint! Looks like it has just been wet sanded and buffed, has been professionally buffed and polished. No abrasives were ever used. NO dents or door dings. Paint is amazing. Has a deep shine, no blems. Not even a 2 footer! Real W30 badging, paint stripes, hood, spoiler, red inner fender wells, black paint scheme Turbo 400 His/Hers Hurst dual gate shifter 4 BBL carburator Dual stainless steel exhaust and mufflers with trumpet tips Headers Tic Toc Tach, reads (4:42) all the time Matador Red/ Black paint easily a 9, NEAR perfect, like glass and smoother than a babys a- , no webbing and no swirls in the paint at all Black interior - like new power steering, brakes F. disc/R. drum brakes original owners manual all accessories work hood and doors open and close nice gauges work well all lights work steering, brakes and emergency brake work freely runs clean and smooth, doesn"t burn or smoke at all starts, shifts, takeoffs, stops, sits well I always run 93 premium and change the Mobil 1 oil/filter every spring can drive anywhere without issue -no accidents -unmolested engine -brakes and tires like new -has original mint jack-complete -console door is loose, rest of console is fine -I have passenger visor, but is not on car, the part that holds the stem is cracked -aluminum racing rims AND -also have a set of 4 the factory original red Rally rims and trim rings too -both sets go with the car -always garaged and covered -only driven on clear days -heated winter storage -leather smells new -PAINT HAS THE WET LOOK -Trumpet exhaust -true dual exhaust, manifold to exhaust tip -newer battery -white engine specs. sticker on radiator cover is actually new and legible, just blurred in picture -NO pits or rust to chrome! ! - rear left quarter panel has a reflection from the fence , it"s not a paint repair -no retouching and no photo shop, etc. was done-the pictures are as I took them -there is no modern muscle that this sound can compare to! deep, throaty and mean -probably missed something but you get what you see -I suggest that serious buyers view in person pre-purchase -always under lock and key. -to the best of my knowledge, this car has been in Western New York for all of its life with caring owners like myself. -It looks like a scratch on the trunk lid but it is not, just a sun glare from the high polish I bought from the last owner, I didn"t even have to dust it! Honest!
Out of all the classics I have owned, this is the one that has the eyes that ladies go after! Maybe because its sexy, mean and all around classy. Looks like its going fast while its standing still.
NADA average book value $38,800- value has been steadily creeping up; value does not include fiberglass spoiler or fiberglass hood in book value.
HAGERTY book value #1 condition $68,400 #2 condition $50,200
IN ALL, only 6,285 (442"s) were made in the last year of 1971! Low production numbers. In 1971 the total number of all Cutlasses made including 442"s were more than 10 TIMES that number. (63,000+) So these 442"s were only of 10% made in 1971!
I have a flexible schedule so you can view in person at anytime. Serious buyers, we can go for a ride on any dry day. You can "view" it any day, rain or shine.
I will be happy to help assist in scheduling a pickup/delivery if needed. Very nice example with an under the money and very realistic price. Some 1971 Cutlasses are selling in the 30"s! Mine is a real one with a 344 VIN.
THANK-YOU FOR LOOKING !
