Vehicle description
Selling my 1971 Volvo, 142S. The turbo kit is entirely custom, does not have an intercooler. Builds boost well, pulls pretty good for what it is, shifts through all 4 gears without any issues! Buyer should consider re-ringing the top end as it smokes a tad, little blow-by coming from the top end. I’d re-seal the entire block as well, small oil leak coming from gasket at distributor. It sat for 2 years before it came into my ownership, all I did was replace the battery, drain the tank, new fuel, got it running/driving, had keys made for it since I bought it locked/not running/without keys.
Dash is cracked Drivers seat lower is saggy Passenger seat shoulder is torn Carpet is original but will clean up nice Headliner is MINT Windshield is “chipped” all other glass is good Paint isn’t perfect by any means Dings that can be easily removed PDR Rust in rear wheel arch-pockets 1”x1” sections Exhaust needs to be ran back, stops beneath passenger floorboard
Overall solid car. Obviously it needs some work, it is not perfect nor am I claiming it to be. It’s a 98% rust free, running/driving 142S. They’re hard to find, especially running/driving. The car should be gone through, a basic tune up will go a long ways!
