Totally restored VW Beetle Custom Coupe. Engine is a 1600CC completely rebuilt into a 1641CC turn key by Herrell Bug Parts in Carrollton, GA. Complete new internals, converted from generator to alternator. New EMPI 34 carb. Running a SVDA distributor with vacuume and RPM advance. New rebuilt 4 speed trans, new clutch and all new poly bushings. Runs 70-75 on the highway with no problem. Complete new wire harness from WolfsBurg West full wiring kit. All new switches or NOS. Speedo is NOS with new cable. New gas tank and sending unit. Front beam replaced with 4 inch narrowed beam built by Valley Autoworks, Beam also has 1/4 inch steel skid plate. Valley Autoworks shortened tie rods with new ends, new steering damper, 2.5 inch lowered spindles, New front disk brake conversion, Steel branded brake lines, New large bore master cylinder, Front and rear Air shocks with new pump and tank in the trunk, All new ball joints, New front and rear wheel bearings, New steering box and bushings, New front fenders and seals, New front glass and rubber, New antenna, New mirrors, New front and rear bumpers converted to 1958-67 style. New LED Hella Headlamps yellow low beam and White on high beam, New running boards, New door panels, New door handles and cranks, New Oatmeal carpets front and back with Tweed headliner seats and door panels, Seats are 1965 low back with new foam and Upholstry, New Bakelite heater tubes under rear seat and heater cables, New tweed headliner to match doors and seats, New CV joints, New Starter, New Phat Boy EMPI side exhaust muffler, New fuel/lines, New accelerator cable, New pedal box with gas brake and clutch pedals, New fuse box, NO RUST car has been painted with POR-15 anti rust paint, Body has been sanded to bear metal and painted with plasti-dip with iron shavings than clear coated to give a patina finish, 15 inch front rims with Yokohama Avid Envigor 195/55/15, rears are 7 inch German widened rims with 195/55/15. Car runs strong, sounds great, shifts and stops on a dime. Car has less than 300 miles since completion, Always garaged and only taken out to car shows. NO TRADES PLEASE.
