Vehicle description
Vehicle Details This is resisted due to a non-paying bidder. Project Bundle. 1970 VW Beetle and an untouched Hill Engineering Buggy Body from the 1960's/70's. Condition is "For parts or not working". Local pickup only. For many years, I collected projects to work on in my retirement. Unfortunately for me, my health is going to make completing these projects difficult or impossible. So I'm going to sell of the projects that I don't think I can finish. My first listing, is this combination of a 1970 VW beetle and a Hill Engineering dune buggy body. The VW beetle is NOT a good candidate for restoration. I purchased it as a donor for the dune buggy build. All the systems such as the engine, brakes, fuel, etc. on the beetle require rebuilding or repair to be usable. Review the attached pictures because they are apart of the description and show the condition of the project and give an indication to the amount of effort required. I have a clear title in my name for the VW beetle. The Hill Engineering buggy body has not been touched. I can't find a lot of information this particular body. It appears to be in the same condition as when purchased new ie. .nothing has been cut on it such as holes for gauges, steering wheel, fuel, etc. . It will need a good polish because it has set so long. It has some scratches and faded some from setting. Review the attached pictures because they are apart of the description and show the condition of the project and give an indication to the amount of effort required. I will not accept returns for this item. So, make sure this is something you want and are willing to take on as a project. It is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with NO warranty implied. Due to its nature, it will require local pickup. I can hold the beetle and buggy body for a couple of weeks until it can be picked up. If not picked up within that amount of time or other arrangements made, I will consider this a failed sale and report it to eBay. If hiring someone to pick the project up, I'll be flexible in working with them to get the item. However, I cannot assist with loading. A NON-REFUNDABLE payment via PayPal of $500 will be required on auction end with final cash payment on pick up. I will only accept checks, PayPal, and cash. Regardless of payment, the vehicle will not move until checks are cleared completely and vehicle is paid for in full. Contact me with your questions. I will do my best to answer them.
