| “ Great driver FJ. Very good condition. Very clean. Drives great. Restored several years ago and just a joy to drive. Beautiful truck. From a few feet back looks mint. Up close you can see the restoration is a bit older but still very nice. I have included some pics showing the driver paint type aged issues. Nothing major but just want to be transparent. This 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is a 2-door, short-wheelbase model equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission. It underwent a full nut-and-bolt restoration, completed in 2013, during which all original components were refinished or rebuilt. The engine, transmission, transfer case, sheet metal, axles, starter, and carburetor were all restored to ensure that this FJ40 remained as it was when it left Toyota"s factory. The engine was over-bored by 0.40" to 3.9L and received a new cam, lifters, pistons, and bearings, while the transmission is factory specification. Genuine Toyota parts were used in the few instances where reusing the original equipment was not possible. It wears its original paint color, Toyota Fashion Green, over all-original sheet metal. Combined with a minimalist black vinyl interior, an off-white roof and grille complete its classic look. Selectable high and low gears, as well as manually-engaged four-wheel-drive, ensure that this FJ40 will reach its final destination no matter what lies ahead. It performs as if it just rolled out of the Toyota factory and is a joy to drive. Interior of truck is just beautiful. Seats, dash, etc. all very very very nice. Includes the floor mats as shown in the pics. They are brand new. Only change i can see from stock is the tires. 4wd, engine , transmission, etc all work normal with no issues. Underside of truck is super clean, paint was restored in 2013 and shows a little age up close. See last pictures. Looks near perfect from a few feet away but up close you can see it is a driver quality paint job. Still super nice for this truck. Shows 67 miles on odometer. I have put 20 miles on the truck since owned. Was told that was since rebuilt. Also has tools under seat and in back as shown by the pics. Can send more pics, info or whatever is needed.
