HERE IS A BARN FIND THAT I WANTED TO SAVE FROM THE CRUSHER . I got the car home , got some fresh gas and a battery in it , it fired up literally the first bump of the key and sounded super strong . i tested the brakes and they worked , iI tried the clutch and 4 speed no chatter and right into gear , I proceeded to; take it out for a ride around the block , and was actually impressed with the power of the engine , the smoothness of the clutch and shifts , the brakes worked decent , and the steering was tight - I then decided i cant part the car out I am going to sell it complete as a project , parts , or major restoration project -
VERY RARE ORIGINAL NUMBERS MATCHING 1970 LEMANS CONVERTIBLE WITH VERY STRONG RUNNING ORIGINAL 350 PONTIAC ENGINE , ORIGINAL MUNCIE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION , 3.23 GEAR REAR AXLE , POWER WINDOW CAR .
THE GOOD :
- 350 numbers match engine - runs very strong and fires in the bump of the key - - 4 speed muncie with factory hurst shifter - shifts great with smooth clutch -nice convertible top no major rips , nice framing of convertible top
- good looking original interior with bucket seats console
- 99% complete runs and drives
- comes with a pair of solid doors and decklid (southern) gold parts - has a 4 inch binder of paperwork and manuals .

THE BAD:
- frame on the car is rusty and been patched before. - has title (transferable registration) but has been signed in both spots so its not a open title - signed back in july of 2002.
- loud because no exhaust from manifolds back
- NY car so it has rust
* * maybe a guy that has a better frame or body can use this one as a donor car.
