Vehicle description
1970 Pontiac GTO. Condition is "Used". I am listing my 1970 GTO, this is a true California Car, built in Fremont and lived its life in Fullerton, untill I bought it where it now resides in orange. I bought this car when I was 17 hoping for a car to rebuild that I could learn on as well as enjoy, but being that id never done this before and no one around me had either I now 4 years later have decided to move on as it has taken a lot of time and money over the years. When I bought the car the guys I got it from were setting it up to drag and had installed janky radiator mounts around a VFN fiberglass front end. I have since done everything in my power to reset it back to stock by buying all the proper body metal and mounts as well as power steering. I have over time replaced the battery, alternator, distributor (which is a brand new FlameThrower HEI), starter, as well as countless lines and gaskets. I also recently redid all the brakes. Pressure tested era correct radiator dropped in recently as well. The Car Does Turn on, Run, And Drive, but that being said it is not in driving condition as I am having a problem with the engine dying out on me, which I had tried to remedy by wiring in a kill switch into a 12v constant feed because I had found my distributor wasn"t receiving enough charge, but am now at a loss for what to do. There are only two spots of rust that need body work, those being the trunk and behind the front fenders on the lower cowl drain area. I will include pictures of both. I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET FROM THE FACTORY. It is in some rough shape but its just about all there. The car has an era correct Pontiac 455 in it but it is not matching numbers. this is a full car, I Have a new hood still in box, a second fender but it should be thrown out/ replaced, and I also have an original 1970 Endura Bumper but it is also pretty chewed up, but I do also have the brackets for them which are rather illustrious. Let me know if you are interested, Texts or Calls only, I don"t check my email often enough. I"m asking 18,000 OBO, I could be willing to accept a trade for a diesel van+ cash, or for a mid 60"s Cadillac+cash Thank you.
