MOPARS have risen to the top of the collector car market, ‘CUDAs have risen to the top of the Mopars. And of course, the ‘Cuda big block convertibles are the most desired of all ‘Cudas. Want proof? Look no further than “Cuda conv Clones” selling in the $150K to $200K+ range while REAL CUDA CONV 440s are $250K+, 440+6 are $750 - $1M+, and 426 Hemis are $1.5M - $3M+. There were only 529 TOTAL “BS27” REAL DEAL FACTORY ‘Cuda Convertibles produced in 1970 all engine sizes and more than half produced had the 340 c.i. small block powertrains. Only 138 ‘Cuda convertibles left the factory in 1970 having the 383-4V motor paired to the H.D. 727 TorqueFlite trans which makes this a rare collectible vehicle by any standard.
Because I am serious about actually selling, I am trusting in the market and starting the bidding off at a very realistic below market no-reserve price of only $98K for a TRUE FACTORY Cuda Convertible Big Block of this rarity and condition. That is less than the cost just to restore a Cuda if you already had one to start with.

additional details Low mile vehicle retaining 95% of the original assembly line born with parts and carefully taken apart down to the unibody and given a gorgeous high quality show paint job in its original factory color. The underside was detailed duplicating the existing original very clean correct factory finishes, overspray, and black out. The differential housing markings you see are the actual original untouched markings put on this ‘Cuda 50 years ago by the assembly line worker and preserved. The original born with factory parts were cleaned / detailed and reinstalled so expect some parts to have minor patina from being 50 year old original parts, yet still beautiful as you can see and show worthy. This ‘Cuda still remarkably retains its original: gas tank, all steel tubing brake & fuel lines, brackets/ clips, much of its original exhaust including orig born with manifolds & tips, original resonator heat shields, ALL orig emblems, weather striping, window door felts, original firewall pad (still looks just like brand new), electric wiring harnesses, all original glass including windshield & rear window, original convert top, all stainless trim, plastic lenses, center console, front interior door panels, rear interior side panels, window cranks, door handles, arm rest, kick panels, sun visors, seat belts, rear seat upholstery, even the original factory body gaskets and so much more… The front grill is amazing still having the original born with factory textured argent finish and original black out. The interior dashboard frame face still has the original satin black paint applied by the factory 50 years ago and yes, that is the factory original MINT PERFECT dash pad and untouched original dash VIN plate that still looks like new! All the under dash items like vents, heater box, cables, vent pulls, defrost vent, throttle pedal, brake pedal components, rubber foot pads, emergency brakes mechanism, bolts, brackets, clips, etc… were just cleaned and reinstalled as the original factory finishes still look like new. Same for many items under the hood: starter relay, blower motor housing, wiper unit, engine wire harness, etc. cleaned and re-installed. The brake booster is the original one installed on the assembly line and was simply painted to look factory new again. Even many of the original plastic wire looms straps were reused as well. Bottom line, this really is one of the most original ‘Cuda convertibles you will ever find having nearly every part it was born with still present including the majority of its original interior, exhaust components, chrome, & trim parts. Every aspect of this ‘Cuda down to the original factory applied black finish and metal tags to the original seat frames are beautiful.
I will let the pictures do the talking about this incredible low mile, matching number, survivor Cuda.
After nearly 20 years of ownership, I believe I am ready to pass the privilege of ownership on to the next caretaker as the Cuda needs to be displayed and taken out to shows and enjoyed, not just sitting in a garage. I have moved from California to Georgia just north of Atlanta and that is where the ‘Cuda is currently located. Inspections during the auction run time are welcome and highly encouraged, but when the auction ends, so does inspection time and it is time to pay for the purchase. This vehicle is over 50 years old and the warranty ran out a long time ago, so it is sold as is and why you should inspect the vehicle during the inspection period. Auction winner is responsible for pick-up, transportation and all related cost to purchasing this vehicle. Payment to be made by bank wire or cash and vehicle does not leave my premises until my bank confirms all funds paid as valid.
You can email me or call (626) 602-4054 to ask questions or set an appointment to inspect. CLICK FOR PHOTO ALBUM & VIDEOS
