Vehicle description
Selling our numbers matching 1970 "Cuda with original 383 (E63: 383 cid 4 barrel V8 335hp) motor. This "Cuda was optioned with the sport hood, dual exhaust, and heavy duty automatic transmission. Car is driveable as it sits or makes a perfect starting point for total restoration. Paint is faded and starting to peel but body and frame are fairly solid. There are 2 weak spots I can see on the frame below the driver and passenger side door. I included pictures of these spots. The doors, especially the passenger door, stick when you open/close. The front of the doors touch the front fenders and don"t leave much of gap which creates the difficulty and rust can be seen on bottom of the doors. The engine is in great shape and fires right up even after sitting for long periods of time and will idle for as long as you let it. Front dash pad is kind of beat up and rear window tray is covered in the same ugly plush that lines the seats and door cards. The trunk bed has surface rust but it is solid and the trunk lid is near perfect. Top of the roof with smooth and rust free and undercarriage looks surprisingly good for a car this age. Bought this from a friend with hopes to restore it but never got to it. Overall, this is an awesome "Cuda that just needs some attention. Would be happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos to those interested. Thanks!
