Vehicle description
This is a REAL Olds 442. Sherwood Green, black top. 455 v8, 4 barrel carb.
Options: Air conditioning (non-op),
Dual gate trans. Disc Brakes Posi rear Am FM radio buckets and console. It needs restoration but runs and drives.
It has a few new mechanical items such as: Radiator,
Water Pump timing chain
fuel pump
Fan clutch
steering box
Dual 2 1/2 " exhaust refinished wheels and tires (Argent) Electronic points
Also has a new rear bumper installed.
Needs complete restoration.
I"m no mechanic, but this is a partial list of what it needs: Ball joints front control arm bushings front springs (included)
speedometer cable (Have a used one)
interior work-carpet, headliner, seat covers Bodywork: The body will need restoration. It has rust and bondo. It will need at the minimum, front fenders and patches on the quarters, trunk floor, tail panel and doors. U nderside is mostly very solid, there is a small soft spot at driver side floor, otherwise floors pretty good. Vinyl top is shot-not too much rust under it, but there"s one hole about the size of a quarter under the vinyl near the rear window.
I have a new front bumper, two almost new fenders and 2 new quarter skins, 2 used doors, a used trunk lid and a few other parts that are available FOR AN EXTRA COST. I have some smaller parts that will fit in the trunk and will be included with the sale.
I can send other photos, if needed. It"s a 50-year-old car, so you are encouraged to come see it in person. If you"re too far away, I can send more pics or face time.
